1. New to PVP - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Originally by: chatgris Originally by: Don Pellegrino Also, joining RvB or FW will probably just turn you into a pilot unable to fight outside of large fleets. I'm not telling you to not join that, but if you do, don't lose the sol...

2. New to PVP - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Keep trying, but don't do stupid things like engaging a Myrmidon in your rifter unless the pilot is very young. You won't learn anything and just die in a fire. At some point, you will "get it". I mean, all of a sudden, you will "get" pvp and sta...

3. Is it me or do Blasters suck? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Originally by: Asarus Atreya If you're under 5km away from another ship, they can't hit you. But you do insane damage against them. Basically i believe (newbie here) that if you can close the range quickly, you'll be at a massive advantage...

4. The Art of 'Manual Piloting' - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
By manually piloting, you can actually orbit A LOT closer than what the orbit button will ever let you. It is also needed to fly an interceptor properly and catch ships that should normally melt you, like snipers.

5. Solo pvp? Does it exist? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
The people saying it is dead are wrong. Fit a frigate and go kill stuff. Skill points are the least important thing when it comes to solo pvp. A good pilot can split gangs, scan down a target extremely quickly, manage not to take damage from crui...

6. T3 Unprobable... - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
I'm starting to see this tactic used a lot more often. It's frustraing not to be able to kill your enemies fleet boosting T3 ship giving out huge bonuses.

7. i give up \0/ - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Breaking news: You will be just as bad with another race UNLESS Caldari really wasn't your style. It's not the race, it's YOU.

8. Cruise batteries for a POS - really bad or is my math poor instead? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
POS modules are not balanced like ship weapons.... POS cruise missiles are not meant to be good.

9. Vagabonds - Really? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Curse, Arazu/Lachesis or any ship that does enough dps to force to disengage, even a Cyclone can do it easily.

11. A question about 'ceptors - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
In my opinion, any tackle ceptor should have a warp disruptor, a cap booster (small or micro) and a microwarpdrive in his mid slots. Considering you will be orbiting within range of heavy neuts, if your target can neut you, he will do it.

Edited by: Don Pellegrino on 15/02/2010 17:46:09 You don't need to fly battleships if you want to pvp in lowsec. It's way more fun to fly frigates and cruisers and engage in belts/plexes or let people attack you first (only works if your secur...

18. How to defend against an interceptor as a mission runner? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
I'm posting this as an interceptor pilot. Warrior IIs aren't a real threat. ECM drones are WAY too slow to do anything to an inty. So yeah, make sure he never gets tackle on you to begin with. Watching the scanner is annoying, but watching the ov...

19. Where should I go for PvP? - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
For some strange reason, Gallente lowsec has A LOT more people (both pvpers and non-pvpers) in it than any other lowsec area. As an example, yesterday, in about 3 hours of solo roaming, I managed to get 8 fights, 3 where they ran and 5 duels (non...
